Today in class, Ms. Nishimori will introduce a new contes to students- The OSIS Chalk Art Contest! 

We're holding an art competition where two students will win their very own Kids Chalk Square at the upcoming OCAF Chalk Festival on September 27th.

OSIS Staff will select one winner from grades 1-5 and one winner from grades 6-8. Each winner will get to decorate their very own 2x2-foot square. If your child wins, they will join me at 10 a.m. on September 27th at the festival to decorate their square.

To enter, students must submit an original design for their chalk square to the front office by September 22nd. The design should embody the OCAF Chalk Festival Theme: "The Central Coast." We encourage students to think about what makes our area special—our beaches, rolling hills, local wildlife, or famous landmarks.
